2. Disconnect the fuel line from fitting (1). Disconnect fuel line (3) from the fuel filter base.3. Remove bolts (2) that hold the fuel filter base to the fuel injection pump housing. Remove fuel filter base (4). 4. Remove elbow (5) and disc (6) from the fuel filter base. 5. Disconnect fuel line (7) and drain line (8). Remove bolts (10) and (11) that hold the clips to the fuel injection pump housing.6. Remove fuel priming pump (9). There will be a loss of fuel when cover (12) is removed.7. Remove cover (12) from the fuel injection pump housing. 8. Remove fuel channel (13) from cover (12). 9. Remove spring (15) and bypass valve (14). Remove check valve (16).Install Fuel Check Valve And Bypass Valve
1. Put the gasket in place and install fuel channel (1) on cover (2). 2. Install check valve (5). Install bypass valve (3) and spring (4) in the fuel injection pump body. 3. Put the gasket in place and install cover (2) on the fuel injection pump housing. 4. Connect fuel line (6). Connect drain line (7). Put the clips in position and install bolts (8) and (9) that hold them in place.5. Put the gasket in position and install fuel priming pump (10). 6. Install disc (11) in the fuel filter base. Put the gasket in place and install the elbow on the fuel filter base. 7. Put the gasket in place and install fuel filter base (12). 8. Connect fuel line (14). Connect the fuel line to fitting (13).9. Open the fuel valves at the fuel tank.
