Introduction
To calibrate the assist system use the Assist Fine-Tune Calibration procedure. Use the following procedure to adjust the Assist cracking point configuration parameters. This adjustment will allow for more operator accuracy and controllability while using the assist features.Note: The changes to these parameters will affect all Assist features.Note: To disable or reset this calibration, change the value contained within the Assist cracking parameters to 0%, the default value.Adjustment Preparation
Place the machine controls at the following settings: engine speed dial "7" and AEC switch OFF. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Engine Performance - Test (Engine Speed)" for engine rpm settings.
Increase the hydraulic oil temperature above 40° C (104 ° F).Adjustment Procedure- Fine-Tuning for Grade Assist

If the machine is operating with grade assist active and the following behaviors occur, perform the following manual tuning. The Boom Drops at the Beginning Point With Minimum Stick In Lever From a Maximum Reach Position
Decrease the "Stick In Cracking Point", or increase the "Boom Raise Cracking Point #2" in 0.5% increments. An example of this increase, is to change the parameter value from 17.0% to 17.5% to 18.0% to 18.5% as needed. The Boom Drops at the Beginning Point With Minimum Stick Out Lever From a Minimum Reach Position
