Information:
Remove & Install Spacer Block
Start By:a. remove cylinder head assemblyb. remove camshaft assemblyc. remove cylinder pack 1. Remove bolts (1), and remove spacer block (2). 2. Remove all seals (3) from cylinder block. The following steps are for the installation of the spacer block.3. Clean the mating surface of the spacer block and the cylinder block. Install all new seals (3) in the cylinder block.4. Put a thin coat of 7M7260 Liquid Gasket on the mating surface of the cylinder block that makes contact with the spacer block. The liquid gasket should be a 5 mm (0.20 in) band around the liner bore and near the six head bolt holes. Allow the liquid gasket to dry to the touch.
Be sure all seals (3) are in place in the cylinder block before the spacer block is installed.
