Connect the steering frame lock.
Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the work tools have been lowered to the ground, and the oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.

Raise lift arms (1) and position Tooling (A) to support lift arms (1) .
Release the hydraulic system pressure.
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

Remove cover (2) .

Disconnect hose assemblies (4). Remove clip (3) and disconnect tube assemblies (5) .

Disconnect harness assemblies (6) and (8). Disconnect hose assembly (7).

Remove bolts (10). Repeat this step for the opposite side of main control valve (9). Use two people to remove main control valve (9). The weight of main control valve (9) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb).Installation Procedure
Install main control valve (9) in the reverse order of removal.
