Remove O-ring seals (8) from detents (6).

Remove pin (9) that holds stop (10) in place. Remove stop (10).

Remove detents (11) from each side of selector and pressure control valve (3).
Remove the O-ring seals from detents (11).
Remove valve spool (12).

Slowly, remove three bolts (13) evenly. Remove cover (14). Remove the O-ring seals from the back side of the cover.

Remove these components from the selector and pressure control valve: piston (20), springs (18) and (17), valve spool (16) and slug (15). Remove spacers (19) from piston (20).

Disassemble valve spool (16) into these components: retaining ring (25), retainer (24), spring (23), plunger (22) and valve spool (21).

Remove spring (27) and valve spool (26).

Disassemble valve spool (26) into these components: retaining ring (30), retainer (29), the two springs and valve spool (28).

Remove these components from the selector and pressure control valve: dowel (31), stop (34), slug (33) and valve spool (32).
Remove dowels (35) and (36) and the stops.

Remove orifice (37) from the selector and pressure control valve.

Remove O-ring seal (38) from orifice (37).
Do not use caustic or corrosive materials to clean components of the transmission hydraulic control valve. Caustic cleaners can damage these components.
