Assembly Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.Note: Coat all internal pump parts with clean oil prior to assembly.

Install seal ring (13) and fitting (14) into pump body (12) .
Install O-ring (15) on valve (16). Install valve (16) in fitting (14) .
Install O-ring (9) on valve (10). Install valve (10) in fitting (8) .
Install seal ring (9) and fitting (8) in pump body (12) .
Install O-ring (5) on piston (4). Install piston (4) in cylinder (3) .
Install spring (6) in cylinder (3) .
Install cylinder (5) and seal ring (9) in pump body (14) .

Retaining nut (1) is not installed until the pump is installed on the harvester head.Reference: Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Lubrication Oil Pump (Saw) - Install".
