Fuel correction factor is used to adjust the calculated amount of fuel consumed during operation versus the actual amount of fuel used. The default setting on Cat ET will be 0% fuel correction factor. If a fuel correction factor needs to be changed, it is 5% increments/decrements. Up to a maximum of 25% in Cat ET 2016 B. If the calculated fuel usage is above the actual fuel used, a negative fuel correction factor needs to be applied. If the calculated fuel usage is below the actual fuel used, a positive fuel correction factor needs to be applied.
