Removal Procedure
Start By:
Prepare the machine for disassembly. For additional information, refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Preparation for Disassembly".
Open the hood. For additional information, refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Tilt Hood".

Remove locking lever (1). Remove handle (2) from the storage position.

Place handle (2) in the operating position. Install locking lever (1).
Operate the handle in order to place tension on the cable that holds the bottom guard.

Remove bolt (3) from the left side of the machine.

Remove bolt (4) from the right side of the machine.

Operate the handle of the winch in order to lower the bottom guard to the ground.
Pull the bottom guard toward the rear of the machine. This will allow tab (5) and tab (6) to disengage from the bottom of the machine.

Remove bolts (7) in order to release the cable from the bottom guard.
Remove the bottom guard. The weight of the bottom guard is approximately 165 kg (364 lb). Installation Procedure

Place the bottom guard in position under the machine. The weight of the bottom guard is approximately 165 kg (364 lb).
Install bolts (7) in order to attach the cable to the bottom guard.

Place tab (5) and tab (6) in position on the bottom of the machine.
Operate the winch in order to raise the bottom guard into position.

Install bolt (4) in the right side of the machine.

Install bolt (3) in the right side of the machine.

Operate the handle in order to release tension on the cable that holds the bottom guard.
Remove locking lever (1). Remove handle (2) from the operating position.

Place handle (2) in the storage position. Install locking lever (1) in order to hold the handle in position.
