The diagnostic code may be viewed on the Digital Diagnostic Tool (DDT) or on the Caterpillar Electronic Technician (Cat ET).The cylinder will misfire.One of the following conditions is the source of the diagnostic code:
A short circuit in the wiring from the control module for the Electronic Ignition System (EIS) to the transformer
A short circuit within the primary winding of the transformer
