2. Put identification marks on all wires and cable assemblies that are connected to the back side of the alternator for installation purposes.3. Disconnect cable assemblies (2) and wires (1) from the alternator.4. Remove bolt (5) and the washer. Loosen the two mounting bolts for the alternator. Push the alternator toward the engine to loosen the tension on two V-belts (4). Remove the two V-belts from the alternator drive pulley.5. Remove the two alternator mounting bolts. Remove alternator (3). The following steps are for the installation of the alternator.6. Install alternator (3) in the reverse order of removal.7. Adjust the tension of the two V-belts (4). See the Operation & Maintenance Manual for the correct adjusting procedure.
