Power mode control button located on the soft panel switch
Push down on the power mode control button in order to activate power mode. Note: The indicator light will be illuminated when power mode is activated.

Automatic Engine Speed Control (AESC) as displayed on the programmable function key in the monitor.
Disable the automatic engine speed control through the monitor by pressing the programmable button.

Joystick (front switch)
Disable the hydraulic modulation control, if equipped. Press the front switch on the right joystick in order to deactivate hydraulic modulation.
The air conditioning should be turned off for the following test. Calibration Procedure
Personal injury or death can result from sudden machine movement.Sudden movement of the machine can cause injury to persons on or near the machine.To prevent injury or death, make sure that the area around the machine is clear of personnel and obstructions before operating the machine.
Start Electronic Technician.
Select the "Machine ECM" from the list of available controls.

From the top menu, select "Service", "Calibrations", and "Travel Pilot Valve Calibration".

After "Travel Pilot Valve Calibration" is selected, this "Warning" will appear on the ET screen. All of the conditions in this warning MUST be met in order to proceed with the calibration. Failure to comply with these conditions could result in serious injury or death. All of the following conditions must be met in order to proceed with the calibration.This calibration will cause all of the driving wheels on the machine to rotate.This calibration may be aborted at any time by releasing the travel pedal on the machine or by selecting the "Cancel" button on the ET screen.
When each of these steps have been met and the implications of performing this calibration are understood, select the "Accept" button.

Once the calibration has been run, the calibration status will be recorded.
If the calibration has been run and successfully completed, the calibration will be show as successful.
If the calibration has been run and aborted by operator, the calibration will retain the previous values and be shown as the state the calibration was prior to the calibration being run and aborted by the operator.
If the calibration has been run and aborted by the software, the status will show unsuccessful. Refer to "Calibration Failed" for troubleshooting why the calibration failed.
If the calibration has never been run, the status will show as Not Run.Calibration Failed
If the calibration fails, use the following procedures in sequence to troubleshoot why the calibration failed.
Check the general function of the solenoid valve for the travel activation valve. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Pilot System Pressure - Test (Travel)" for the machine.
Increase the distance the travel spool can move. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Travel Valve Spool - Adjust" for the machine.
Test and adjust the margin pressure to within the specification. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Margin Pressure - Test and Adjust" for the machine.
Verify that the travel valve system is operating properly. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Travel Valve - Test" for the machine.
