Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Position the gasket on the exhaust manifold.
Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of the exhaust manifold studs.Note: Install turbocharger (5) in the original location and the original orientation that was noted in the removal procedure.
Attach a suitable lifting device to turbocharger (5) . The weight of turbocharger (5) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb). Position turbocharger (5) on the exhaust manifold.
Install nuts (3) and tighten to a torque of 55 9 N m (41 7 lb ft).
Connect tube assemblies (1) and tube assembly (4) .
Install tube assembly (2) .
Fill the cooling system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".
