Special Instruction, SEHS8877, "Use Of 1U8118 Plastic Fuel Tank Repair Kit".Some Caterpillar machines are equipped with a fuel tank which is made of plastic or nylon. A new 1U8118 Fuel Tank Repair Kit is available for making repairs to these fuel tanks. Included in the repair kit are sealant, cloth and detailed instructions for filling any crack or puncture which may occur. The repair kit provides a strong fix at a lesser cost than a replacement fuel tank. The shelf life of this product is approximately six months.
