Accessing the Web Interface
The configuration of the health interface module is completed through the web interface. Perform the following procedure to access the web interface:
Open the web browser on a computer that is on the same network as the health interface module.
Ensure that the web browser is not configured to use a proxy server. Perform the following procedure to verify:
Access "Tools" and select "Internet Options". Select "Connections" and then select "LAN Settings".
In the window for the "Local Area Network (LAN) Settings", verify that the check box for using a proxy server is blank.
Type "http://<ip address>" in the address field of the web browser.The "Device Information" page will display.Note: The IP address is the value that was configured for the health interface module using the Cat ET software.Web Page Label

Product name
OEM
Machine type
Interface name
Software version
Device IDThe format of the web page label is the same for all health interface modules. The label follows the following format: "Health Interface Module for [OEM] [Machine Type] [Interface Name] [Software Version] [Device ID]".Product name - The product name field will display "Health Interface Module" for all health interface modules on Cat and non-Cat machines.OEM - The OEM field displays the name of the manufacturer.Machine type - This field displays the type of machine.Interface name - This field displays the Name of interface that the health interface module is connected to.Software version - This field displays the version of the health interface module software.Device ID - This field displays the device ID of the machine that is configured in the configuration menu.Logging In
The "Log In" link is provided in order to access additional web pages. Once the "Log In" link is clicked, the page to enter a username and password displays.

"Log In" pageThe following default user names must be used to log in:
Customer
DealerNote: The web page stops updating data after 10 minutes of idling. If 10 minutes of inactivity on the web interface have passed, data will no longer be updated. Click a link or access a page in order to refresh the data. As long as there is activity on the web pages data will be refreshed.Note: The default user names cannot be changed. The user names correspond with the user access level. The default password for Customer is "Customer", the default password for Dealer is "Dealer".When the "OK" button is pressed, the credentials for the user are verified against the credentials that are stored on the device. An invalid username and/or password will be rejected and the "Invalid username or password" error message will display.Once a valid username and password are accepted, the user is granted access to certain web-pages based on the access level defined for that user.
