13. Modify the left hand, 431-6810 hose Guard Assembly by drilling a 15.5 mm (0.626 inch) DIA or similarly sized hole in the position shown in Image 1.18.1.

13. Assemble the modified left hand 431-6810 angle cylinder hose Guard Assembly from Step 13 using the 8T-4183 and 8T-4139 Bolts and 8T-4223 Washers from Step 6. Position the clamp on the cylinder so that it aligns with the new hole in the guard made in the previous step. Tighten the nuts on the clamp bolts. (Note: The rubber hose clamp from the old 435-7844 clamp will not be used.) Secure the 431-6826 Hose using the 5P-7464 Clip, 5P-7465 Clip, 6V-1249 Grommet, 8T-4186 Bolt and 8T-4121 Washer from Step 7. Secure the 431-6825 Hose using the 5P-7464 Clip, 5P-7465 Clip, 6V-1249 Grommet, 8T-4186 Bolt, (2) 8T-4121 Washers, and 344-5675 Nut from Step 6. See Image 1.19.1.

LINE RELIEF REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE (GROUP 1 AND GROUP 2 MACHINES)
1. Remove the operator seat, right hand armrest, and platform access panels to gain access to the angle section of the hydraulic valve stack. Refer to Image 1.20.1.

2. Temporarily remove the right and left angle solenoid valve housings to gain access to the line relief valves. The wiring harness solenoid tags can be used to help identify the solenoids. Refer to Images 1.21.1, 1.21.2, and 1.21.3. Replace the existing 269-0858 Valve Groups with 464-4067 Valve Groups. Tighten the valve groups to 145 +/- 15 Nm. Re-assemble the solenoid valve housings using (2) 187-9630 and (4) 1H-1023 Seals. Re-assemble the access panels, operator seat, and armrest.
3. Complete the remaining steps of the Angle Cylinder Rework Procedure.

PITCH LINK REWORK PROCEDURE (GROUP 1 AND GROUP 2 MACHINES)
1. Perform this rework procedure if the machine does not have the new 457-3639 pitch link adjustment wrench or does not have a previously modified 381-1883 adjustment wrench. Refer to Image 1.22.1 to aid in the identification of the equipment configuration.
2. Remove the 381-1883 Plate Assembly (pitch link adjustment wrench) from the pitch link. Position the 7X-7729 Washer and weld it to the wrench as shown in Illustration 1.22.2. Reassemble the wrench as shown in Illustration 1.22.3. The pitch of the blade may have to be adjusted rearward to pin the modified wrench to the pitch link. Grease the pitch link at all four fittings.
