Select the "Diagnostics" tab on the top tool bar.Cat ET should now display all available "Diagnostic Tests".

Select the “Power Inverter Test - Manual” Refer to 4.
Take the necessary steps to satisfy the test set-up conditions listed on the Cat ET screen. When machine conditions have been met, select the "Next" button.

ERROR DESCRIPTION ACTIONS TO PERFORM
Error ID 0002 Active Diagnostic Present Check for communication fault between Machine ECM and either the Accessory Power Converter (APC) or Generator Power Inverter ECM. Clear active diagnostic codes.
Error ID 0009 Service Test aborted by ECM Check for a communication fault. Update software to latest version from SIS web.
Error ID 0x114F DC Link above threshold The DC link voltage is above the minimum thereshold of 50 VDC. Verify the proper electrical shutdown has been preformed and then rerun the test.
Error ID 0x1011 Engine running Engine needs to be at 0 rpm for the test. Shut down the engine. Perform the Troubleshooting, "Electrical Shutdown and Voltage Discharge" procedure.
Error ID 0x1150 Key switch off Key switch to the Generator Power Inverter ECM has been turned off before or during the test. The test must be performed with key switch in the ON position. Check key switch to Generator Power Inverter ECM.
