Remove radiator harness (2) by removing existing clip hardware (3).

Remove the heat shrink tube from the radiator harness.
Remove the pins from connector plug assembly (4) the end of the radiator harness.

Install grommet assembly (7) and nut (6) onto the radiator harness.Note: The flat surface of the nut should face the grommet assembly.
Install heat shrink tube (5) onto the radiator harness as shown in Illustration 36.
Reinsert the pins into connector plug assembly. Due to different wiring variations, refer to the appropriate wiring schematic for the wire locations of the connector plug assembly.
Insert plugs into the vacant holes of connector plug assembly (4).
Position heat shrink tube (5) over the connector and harness braid and shrink tube.

(8) Existing mounting hardware
Remove existing mounting hardware (8) in the four corners of the TCM. Remove the TCM.

Install bracket (9) and then install the TCM on top of the bracket. Secure the TCM using the previous hardware (8) and washers (10).

Slide the harness assembly through the slot in bracket (9) and install connector plug assembly (4) into the TCM. Tighten nut (6) up to the bracket.
Install plate assembly (11), clip (17), and cable tie mounting (12) using taperlock stud (14), hard washer (13), and nut (15). Attach the harness to clip (17) using cable strap (16).
Install cable tie mounting (12) at the other location shown using bolt (18) with hard washer (13). Attach the harness to the cable tie mounting using cable strap (16).

Slide heat-shrink tube (19) onto harness assembly (20). Slide the harness assembly through the slot in bracket (9) and tighten nut (6). Heat the heat shrink tube over the connectors and the harness.
Secure the harness assembly with clip (21).
Install heat-shrink tube (22) onto harness assembly (20). Connect the harness assembly to the motor. Heat the heat shrink tube over the connectors and harness assembly.

Install bracket (23) using bolts (18) with hard washers (13). Install cable tie mounting (12) in the location shown in Illustration 4. Secure the harness to the cable tie mounting using cable strap (16).
