This Program must be administered as soon as possible.When reporting the repair, use "PI32204" as the Part Number and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Codeand "T" as the SIMS Description code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI32204" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number,"96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
The information supplied in this service letter may not be valid after the termination date of this program.Do not perform the work outlined in this Service Letter after the termination date without first contacting your Caterpillar product analyst.
This Revised Service Letter replaces the 23Jul2013 Service Letter. A change was made to the SMCS Codes.

PROBLEM
The 329-4394 Wiring Harness is incorrectly wired on certain G3520E Generator Sets. The Multi-Dynamics Select Input wire is the wrong location and will cause a 1167-2 EPG Circuit Breaker: erratic, intermittent, or incorrect diagnostic to become active in Cat ET.

ACTION REQUIRED
Follow all safety rules and steps to properly prepare the generator set for service. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Safety Section".
Disable and isolate the electrical system before beginning this repair.
The 329-4394 Wiring Harness must be reworked.
Relocate the Multi-Dynamics Select Input wire (WIRE ID A320-A009, Wire Color = Pink, Wire Gage = 18AWG) from J1-56 and move the wire to J1-11 on the Primary ECM.
Refer to Schematic, KENR5934 for connector and pin locations.
