Assembly Procedure
Be sure that all of the internal parts of the rotary joint are thoroughly clean and free of dirt and debris.

Check the condition of seals (9) and O-ring seals (3) and (7). If the seals are damaged, use new parts for replacement.
Install nine seals (9) in housing (5). Install O-ring seal (7) in housing (5). Put 5P-0960 Molybdenum Grease on the seals.

Install a new dust seal (6) in housing (5). Install the seal so that the lip is facing outward, as shown. Properly seat the seal in the housing.
Do not damage the dust seal when installing the rotor into the housing.
Put 5P-0960 Molybdenum Grease on both ends of rotor (10). Be sure that there is grease on the rotor area that contacts dust seal (6) and O-ring (7). Install rotor (10) in housing (5).
Install spacer (4) on rotor (10) and in housing (5). Install snap ring (8) on rotor (10).
Put 5P-0960 Molybdenum Grease on O-ring seal (3). Install the O-ring seal in the top of housing (5).
Install cover (2) and four bolts (1) that hold the cover in place. End By:
Install the swivel. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Swivel - Install" in this manual.
