The gear pump (1) is located on the front of the front housing cover (2). The gear pump is driven by an external spline. The gear pump connects to the auxiliary pump drive (3). The auxiliary pump drive is driven by the timing gears. The timing gears are located inside the front housing cover (2). The timing gears turn in direct relation to the engine rpm. As the engine rpm increases, the rate of flow from the gear pump increases.The hydraulic oil tank is above the gear pump. Oil flows from the tank to the gear pump. The oil inlet (4) is on the top of the pump. A fill port is on top of the oil inlet. The oil outlet is on the bottom of the gear pump. The oil flows from the gear pump to the fan motor.
