Regulation Of The Engine Speed
The engine and pump controller processes the input from the engine speed dial. A signal is then sent from the controller to the engine ECM. The engine ECM will adjust the engine speed in order to match the desired speed that is requested by the setting of the engine speed dial. The engine ECM regulates the speed of the engine according to the dial setting.Exceptions
Control Of Pump Output
Under normal temperatures of the hydraulic oil, the pump is regulated by the target engine speed. When the hydraulic oil cannot reach a certain temperature level, the controller will operate so that the regulation of the pump is performed by a certain constant power shift pressure. The power shift pressure will perform the regulation of the pump instead of the target engine speed. The pump output by this constant power shift pressure is reduced two to ten percent. This could result in sluggish machine operation. Under constant control of the power shift pressure, control of the pump summation does not function.
