Procedure To Weld 150-6819 Stiffener (1) To 6E-4440 Tank Assembly
Personal injury or death can result from an explosion. Applying heat to a tank which has held flammable liquid, even when empty, can result in residual flammable liquid or vapor igniting with explosive force.
Do not weld or flame cut on any tank that has held flammable liquid without taking the proper precautions. Such as; filling the tank with either carbon dioxide or water.

1. See Service Manual (SENR6655) for procedure to drain the equipment hydraulic tank.2. Remove 6E-4440 Tank Assembly from 9T-9554 Tank Group-Filter.3. Position 150-6819 Stiffener (1) 400.0 3.0 mm (15.75 .12 in) (A) from left side of 6E-4440 Tank Assembly, as shown in Illustration 1. The 150-6819 Stiffener can be made from 1E0357 Steel. See Illustration 2 for specifications.4. Weld 150-6819 Stiffener (1) to 6E-4440 Tank Assembly. See weld callout on Illustration 1.5. Assemble 6E-4440 Tank Assembly to 9T-9554 Tank Group-Filter.
