Removal Procedure

Remove cover assembly (1) .

Open engine hood (2). Remove bolts (3) and (4) in order to remove bracket assembly (5) with engine hood (2). Remove engine hood (2) and bracket assembly (5) together.

Loosen hose clamps (2), and disconnect hoses (4) from the compressor housing.
Disconnect oil supply tube assembly (1), and disconnect oil drain tube assembly (3) from the cartridge assembly.
Loosen bolts for clamp (5). Remove six nuts (6) which secure the exhaust pipe to the turbine housing. Slide the exhaust pipe toward the muffler.
Remove eight nuts (7) that secure the turbine housing to the exhaust manifold. Remove the turbocharger and the gasket.Installation Procedure

Position the turbocharger and the gasket. Install eight nuts (7) that secure the turbine housing to the exhaust manifold.
Position the exhaust pipe at the turbine housing. Install six nuts (6) which secure the exhaust pipe to the turbine housing. Tighten the bolts for clamp (5) .
Connect oil drain tube assembly (3) to the cartridge assembly, and connect oil supply tube assembly (1) .
Connect hoses (4) to the compressor housing and tighten hose clamps (2) .

Install engine hood (2) and bracket assembly (5) together. Install bolts (4) and (3). Close engine hood (2) .

Install cover assembly (1) .
