At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. Remove the fill cap on the hydraulic oil tank only when the engine is stopped, and the fill cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.
1. Release the pressure in the hydraulic system by slowly loosening the fill cap located on top of the hydraulic oil tank.2. Open the engine access door on the left side of the machine. 3. Disconnect hose assemblies (1) from vibratory cooling/control valve (2). Cap and plug immediately. 4. Mark two electrical connectors (3) for installation purposes. Disconnect two electrical connectors (3) from the vibratory cooling/control valve. Remove the cable tie that fastens the electrical harness to the bracket. 5. Disconnect hose assemblies (4) and (5) from vibratory cooling/control valve (2). Cap and plug immediately. 6. Disconnect hose assemblies (6) from vibratory cooling/control valve (2). Cap and plug immediately.7. Remove the six bolts that fasten vibratory cooling/control valve (2) to the vibratory pump, and remove the vibratory cooling/control valve and spacer (7). Remove the four O-ring seals from the spacer and the vibratory cooling/control valve. Check the O-ring seals for damage or wear, and replace if necessary. For installation of the vibratory cooling/control valve, reverse the removal steps.Disassemble & Assemble Vibratory Cooling/Control Valve
Start By:a. remove vibratory cooling/control valve 1. Remove nuts (1) and coil assemblies (2) from the cartridge assemblies. When installing, tighten the nuts to a torque of 6.8 N m (60 lb in). 2. Remove cartridge assemblies (3) from valve block (4). Remove the two O-ring seals and two back-up rings from each of the cartridge assemblies. Check the O-ring seals and back-up rings for damage or wear, and replace if necessary. When installing, tighten the cartridge assemblies to a torque of 108 N m (80 lb ft). 3. Remove POR valve (5) from the valve block. Remove the O-ring seal from the POR valve. Check the O-ring seal for damage or wear, and replace if necessary. When installing, tighten the POR valve to a torque of 34 N m (25 lb ft).4. Remove charge relief valve (6) from the valve block. Remove the two O-ring seals from the charge relief valve. Check the O-ring seals for damage or wear, and replace if necessary. When installing, tighten the charge relief valve to a torque of 61 N m (45 lb ft).5. Remove spike relief valve (7) from the valve block. Remove the two back-up rings and two O-ring seals from the spike relief valve. Check the back-up rings and O-ring seals for damage or wear, and replace if necessary. When installing, tighten the spike relief valve to a torque of 48 N m (35 lb ft). 6. Remove shuttle valve (8) from valve block (4). Remove the two back-up rings and three O-ring seals from the shuttle valve. Check the back-up rings and O-ring seals for damage or wear, and replace if necessary. When installing, tighten the shuttle valve to a torque
