1. Remove six screws (2) that hold cover (1) to the control panel. Remove the cover from the control panel and disconnect the wiring harness from service meter (3).2. Remove the knob and rubber boot from the control lever. 3. Put identification on hose assemblies (6) for assembly purposes and disconnect six hose assemblies (6).4. Remove four nuts and bolts (5). Remove control valve (4) from the control panel. The following steps are for the installation of the stick and swing pilot control valve.5. Put control valve (4) in position on the control panel. Install four bolts and nuts (5) that hold the control valve.6. Connect six hose assemblies (6) to control valve (4).7. Install the rubber boot and the knob to the control valve.8. Connect the wiring harness to service meter (3).9. Install cover (1) on the control panel.Remove And Install Bucket And Boom Pilot Control Valve
1. Remove the screws and the retainer that hold the floor mat down at the door opening. Fold the floor mat forward. 2. Remove three bolts (1) from the seat support. Turn the seat toward the door. 3. Remove the knob and rubber boot (2) from the control lever. Remove four screws (4) from cover (3). Remove cover (3). 4. Put identification on hose assemblies (6) for assembly purposes and disconnect hose assemblies (6) from the control panel.5. Remove the four bolts holding control valve (5) to the control panel. Remove control valve (5). The following steps are for the installation of the bucket and boom pilot control valve.6. Install control valve (5) in the control panel.7. Connect six hose assemblies to control valve (5).8. Install cover (3) with four screws (4). Install rubber boot (2) and the knob on the control lever.9. Put the seat in position and install three bolts (1).10. Put the floor mat in place and install the retainer and screws that hold it.Disassemble And Assemble Pilot Control Valves
1. Put a mark (1) on the body and base. 2. Remove hex-head bolt (2) from the body. 3. Carefully pull base (3) away from body (4). Seals on the valves may make it hard to pull the base off. 4. Remove four outer springs (5). 5. Remove actuator plate (6) and the swivel. 6. Remove retainer (7) and plunger (8). The plunger for No. 2 valve is different than the rest. There are numbers on the base to identify the bores. Mark the plunger in the No. 2 valve to be sure it is installed correctly during assembly. 7. Remove plunger (8) from retainer (7). 8. Remove valve stem (9) from the body. All four stems (9) are the same. However, mark each one carefully with the number of the bore shown on the bottom of the base. The following steps are for the assembly of the pilot control valve.9. Assemble the valve in reverse order of disassembly.10. Put the valve stems back in the correct bores.11. Be sure the correct plunger is installed in valve No. 2.
