INDUSTRIAL ENGINE, TRACK LOADER,
Information:
1. Remove the rear pivot pins from the front link assemblies. Remove the bucket and front link assemblies from the machine as a unit. See REMOVE BUCKET for tooling and procedures to remove the pins and bucket. 2. Lift the lift arms and put tooling (A) in position for support as shown. Move the control lever so that the weight of the lift arms is on tooling (A).3. Operate the tilt cylinders and move the front lever assemblies (1) until they are in contact with the stops on the lift arms.
Move the control levers backward and forward to release the pressure in the hydraulic system. Slowly loosen the cap to release any pressure in the hydraulic tank. Let the hydraulic oil become cool before any lines are disconnected in the hydraulic system.
4. Disconnect bucket positioner oil lines (3) from the bucket positioner master valve on the right side of the machine. Step 5 is for machines equipped with front hydraulic attachments.5. Disconnect tube assemblies (4) from tube assemblies (5) on both sides of the machine. Remove the bolt and clamp that holds tube assemblies (4) to the top of the lift arms.6. Disconnect hose assemblies (2) from both tilt cylinders. 7. Remove bolts (6) that hold the tilt cylinder hydraulic lines from both lift arms. 8. Remove grab irons (9) from both sides of the machine.9. Disconnect the wires and remove lights (7) and the brackets from the pivot pins on both sides of the machine.10. Remove support link (8) from the right side of the machine if so equipped. 11. Remove bolts (11) and the nuts that hold lower pins (10) in position on both sides of the machine.12. If necessary, use tool (B) to clean the threads in lower pins (10). 13. Use tooling (C) to remove the lower pins from both sides of the machine. 14. Remove the grease fitting from the lift cylinder rod pins (13). Remove bars (12) that hold pins (13) in position.15. If necessary use tool (B) to clean the threads in pins (13). 16. Fasten a hoist to the lift cylinder rods and use tooling (C) to remove the pins from each side of the machine. Lower the cylinder rods until the weight of the cylinders is on the frame of the machine.17. Fasten a hoist to the lift arms as shown. 18. Remove the grease fittings from pins (14). 19. Remove bolts (15) and the lockwashers that hold pins (14) in position. 20. If necessary, use tool (B) to clean the threads in pin (14) on the right side of the machine. Use tooling (C) and remove the pin. 21. If necessary, use tool (D) to clean the threads in pin (14) on the left side of the machine. Use tooling (E) to remove the pin.22. Remove the lift arms from the machine. The weight of the lift arms is 4500 lb. (2025 kg). 23. Remove seals (16) from the rear pivot pin bores in the lift arms. 24.
