Now extend the bucket cylinder, to align the bucket linkage to the hole in the hammer bracket.
Then insert the second pin and install the lock ring and bolt, with castellated nut and install the split pin through the hole in the bolt.
Stop the engine of the host machine, turn off the main switch and discharge the pressure in the hydraulic system.
Remove the dust / hydraulic caps/plugs from the hydraulic hammer jumper hoses and ball valve and connect the hoses to the ball valves on the machine. (Store these in a clean place for use again when you remove the hammer)

(10) IN - Supply Port (High Pressure)
(11) OUT - Return Port (Low Pressure)
Ensure the pressure and return flow lines are connected to the correct in / out ports on the hammer. (Refer to host machine operation manual if unsure)
Operate the bucket cylinder and check if the hose of hydraulic breaker is connected correctly.
Rotate the handles on the ball valves to allow the oil to flow to the hammer.
Return to the machine and start machine.
Run the hydraulic flow for a couple of minutes to ensure any air I the system is flushed out and the oil warmed up.Note: Ensure you check the oil level on the host machine on a regular basis and ensure the level is correct.
When operating hammer do not run at full engine speed or aux flow, as this would be inefficient and would result in high fuel usage. It will also make the control of the machine boom and stick hard to accurately place and operate. It is recommended to operate at approximately 50% to 60% of engine speed. Dependent on host machine flow capability.
Operate the bucket linkage to rotate the hammer slowly to check the jumper hoses are not going to get trapped between the hammer bracket and stick.Delivery Service Record
