Customer Supplied Components
Power Supply
The customer supplied power supply must be capable of supplying 24 VDC at 10 amperes. The power supply will be connected to terminal 1 and terminal 2.Alarm
One wire from a contactor that is customer supplied can be connected to terminal 42 of the engine protection box in order to provide an alarm. The other wire may be connected to one of the following terminals:

A customer can provide a two-position switch that can be wired in order to provide a remote start/stop function. When the engine control switch is in the REMOTE position the remote start/stop switch is enabled.A normally open contact can be wired to the engine protection box on terminals 1B and 83. When the contact is open, the engine will stop running or the engine will remain in the stopped position. When the contact is closed, the engine will run the prelube cycle and the engine will then start.Remote Emergency Stop
A customer can provide a maintained two-position push button that is equipped with normally open contacts to be wired to the engine protection box on terminals 1 and 84 in order to provide remote emergency stop. When the Remote Emergency Stop Push button is depressed, the engine protection box will activate both the fuel shutoff and air shutoff. Indicator for Ballhead Backup Actuator
A customer can provide a lamp assembly that can be connected to the engine protection box on terminals 106 and 2 in order to indicate the mode of a ballhead backup actuator. The lamp will be illuminated when the governor is running on the ballhead backup actuator.Note: An EGB governor is required for this indicator to be functional.Spare Contacts
Several dry contacts are provided for the customer. All of the spare contacts use form C contacts. The contacts have a 5 amp rating.The table shows the terminal location for the contacts.
