Never visually inspect the fill and relief valve to check for leakage of grease. Always look at the track to see if it has loosened.
Fill and relief valve (1) is used to adjust the track on each side of the machine.The fill and relief valve is located in track adjuster piston (6). Put grease through fill and relief valve (1) with a hand operated grease gun in order to tighten the track.When grease is added to chamber (7) through fill and relief valve (1), the pressure pushes track adjuster cylinder (5) forward. The forward movement of track adjuster cylinder (5) tightens the track.To loosen the track, use a wrench to loosen fill and relief valve (1). This releases grease from chamber (7) in track adjuster piston (6) .When grease is allowed out of chamber (7) by loosening fill and relief valve (1), the reduction in pressure allows track adjuster cylinder (5) to move toward recoil spring (3). The link and the front idler move toward the rear of the machine. This releases the tension on the track.Track Roller Frames
The two track roller frames are identical. A front idler and six track rollers are fastened to each track roller frame. The compartment for the recoil spring and the mechanism for track adjustment are located between the pivot bar and the equalizer bar.Track Carrier Rollers

The track carrier rollers give support to the track between the sprocket and the front idler. The carrier rollers turn on two tapered roller bearings (3) .The shaft on the track carrier roller is fastened to a support bracket by a clamp. The support bracket is fastened to the loader frame.The track carrier rollers must be in alignment with the sprocket and the front idler. The alignment is done by the movement of the roller shaft inside the support bracket.Track Carrier Roller LubricationShaft (1) must be in a horizontal position when lubricant is added and the roller has been removed from the machine.Lubricant is sent into the center of end cover (4) through a filler tube. The lubricant fills the cavity between shaft (1) and the roller.When the cavity is full, the pressure of the oil forces the air and extra lubricant out of the threads in the filler tube.When lubricant is observed at the threads, the idler is full of lubricant. Remove the filler tube and install filler plug (5). Tighten the plug to a torque of 75 7 N m (55 5 lb ft).Track Rollers
