Remove 5P-7684 Plug (23). Discard 5P-7684 Plug (23) .Note: When 5P-7684 Plug (23) is removed, large amounts of oil can be lost through this port.
Install 152-2939 O-Ring Seal (36) on 9S-8006 Plug (37). Install 9S-8006 Plug (37) .
Install 6K-6307 O-Ring Seal (27) to 6EL2556 Adapter (26). Install 6EL2556 Adapter (26) in the cylinder head. This is the position the 5P-7684 Plug (23) was removed from.
Install 2M-9780 O-Ring Seal (29) to 6V-8626 Elbow (30). Install 6V-8626 Elbow (30) to 6EL2556 Adapter (26). Install a new 6V-5142 O-Ring Seal (28) to 6V-8626 Elbow (30) .
Loosen tube fitting (21). Rotate elbow (22) by 90 degrees in order to aid in the installation of the new tube.
Install 6DE8710 Tube Assembly (27) .Note: Do not completely tighten the tube.

Install the following items loosely in position over 6DE8710 Tube Assembly (35) : 6EL2554 Clamp (34), 6EL2553 Clamp (33), 7X-0294 Bolt (24), 4L-9337 Bolt (31) and 8T-4896 Hard Washer .

Install the following items loosely in position over 6DE8710 Tube Assembly (35) : 6EL2551 Clamp (25), 6EL2552 Clamp (32), 7X-0294 Bolt (24), 4L-9337 Bolt (31) and 8T-4896 Hard Washer .
Check for correct alignment of 6DE8710 Tube Assembly (35). Tighten the tube connections. Tighten all the clamp bolts.
Install valve (5) that was removed in Step 6.
Install 107-3202 Tube As (6) that was removed in Step 5.

Install the bracket (4) for the wiring harness (2) by using the bolts (3) and the washers.
Connect the wiring harness (2) .

Use cable straps in order to ensure that the wiring harness (2) is moved to the end of the wiring clips. This will give the wiring harness (2) clearance from the 6DE8710 Tube Assembly (35) .

Install guard (1) .
Prime the unit injector hydraulic pump. Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly manual that is shown above.
Start the machine. Check for any leaks.
