The new magnetic switch replaces the previous lever actuated body position switch. The new magnetic switch is a part of 247-5663 Chassis Wiring Gp in the electrical arrangement.The parts required for the magnetic switch are listed in Table 1.

4     1     383-2704     Switch Harness As     -    Note: Machines JRP3251-3317 and JXP00236-00247 need the L-bracket removed from the body. The L-bracket was used to actuate the lever on the old body position switch. The magnetic body position switch requires a new bracket in order to mount the magnet. Fabricate and weld the new bracket onto the body refer to Special Instruction, REHS6086, "Procedure to Install Updated Body Position Switch on the 777FOff Highway Trucks" for specific body type (Flat Floor, Dual Slop, and Coal).The parts listed in Table 1 are adaptable to the machines JRP1-3250, JXP1-235, and WTK1-117.The parts listed in Table 1 are effective in production with the machines JRP3251-UP, JXP236-UP, and WTK118-UP.Refer to the reference mentioned above to install the new magnetic switch.
