1. Remove oil filter (1) with tool (A). 2. Remove bolts (4) that hold the oil filter base to the engine oil cooler.3. Disconnect inlet tube (3) and outlet tube (6) at the cylinder block.4. Remove clip (5).5. Pull the inlet and outlet tubes out of the oil filter base and remove base (2). 6. Remove bolts (7) and covers (8).7. Remove springs (9) and plungers (10) from the oil filter base.Install Oil Filter And Base
1. Put clean SAE30 oil on the bypass valves for the oil filter base.2. Install the plungers, springs, cover and bolts in the oil filter base.3. Install the inlet and outlet tubes in the oil filter base. 4. Put oil filter base (1) in position on the engine oil cooler. Install the bolts that hold it.5. Connect the inlet and outlet tubes to the cylinder block. Install the clip on the inlet tubes.6. Install a new oil filter. Follow the instructions on the filter for the correct installation procedure.
