Accidental engine starting can cause injury or death to personnel working on the equipment.To avoid accidental engine starting, turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position. Remove the key for the battery disconnect switch. Use a secure padlock in order to lock the battery compartment access door.Place a Do Not Operate tag at the Start/Stop switch location to inform personnel that the equipment is being worked on.
Repair Procedure
The new 180-4191 Harness (Transmission Jumper) can be used on all D6R machines and on all D7R machines. See Table 1 for the component part numbers for the parts that are needed to install the 180-4191 Harness (Transmission Jumper). The Illustrations show the location of the wiring harness.

Remove straps (2) that hold the wiring harness in place.
Use the 180-4191 Harness as a gauge to determine the location for cutting the harness.
Be sure that the battery disconnect switch is in the OFF position before you cut the wiring harness.
Cut wiring harness (1) at the determined location.
Install the 155-2265 Connecting Plug Kit and the 102-8806 Receptacle Kit to the cut end of the wire harness.Note: See Tables 2 and 3 for the position of the wires in the connectors.
Connect the new transmission wiring harness to the end of the old transmission wiring harness and to the transmission. Install the straps that hold the harness in place.
