Once the Machine Security System (MSS) immobilizer is enabled on an E-series engine ECM, it cannot be disabled. There is no impact on the operation of the machine or the MSS other than not being able to disable this parameter.Solution
If the MSS needs to be uninstalled, the bypass times can be set in ET to allow operation. If the machine ECM must be replaced, the engine ECM will also need to be replaced since it will not allow the machine to start with a machine ECM other than the ECM which was present when the immobilizer was first enabled.
