2. Remove four bolts (5) that hold the elbow to water pump cover.3. Remove two bolts (2) and make a separation of the tube assembly from bonnet (1).4. Remove two bolts (4) and one bolt (3) that hold bonnet and remove bonnet (1) from engine oil cooler. 5. Remove tube assembly (6) from water pump.6. Fasten a hoist to water pump. Remove five bolts (8) that hold water pump (7) to timing gear cover and loosen two bolts that hold water pump.7. Remove water pump. Weight is 62 lb. (28 kg).Install Water Pump (Marine Engine)
1. Fasten a hoist to water pump. Put water pump in position on timing gear plate. Be sure gear is in alignment with idler gear.2. Install five bolts that hold water pump to timing gear cover and tighten two bolts that hold water pump.3. Install tube assembly on water pump.4. Install bonnet, one bolt in bracket and two bolts to water pump.5. Put tube assembly in position on bonnet and install two bolts.6. Put elbow in position on cover and install four bolts.7. Fill engine with coolant to correct level.
