Install pistons (33) and retainer plate (34).

Wrap a piece of nylon string around the pistons, as shown.

Lower rotating assembly (32) into the pump. Use the nylon string in order to hold the assembly together during installation. Remove the nylon string.

Install O-ring seal (30) to compensator valve (31).
Install piston (26) to head assembly (7).
Install retainer (27) to compensator valve (31). Install spring (28) to compensator valve (31). Install retainer (29) to compensator valve (31).
Install compensator valve (31) to head assembly (7).
Install test port (25) and the O-ring seal into head assembly (7).
Install O-ring seals (22) and (24) onto relief valves (21) and (23). Install relief valves (21) and (23) into head assembly (7).

Apply Tooling (J) to the flat side of port plate (20). Install port plate (20) to head assembly (7).
Install O-ring seals (19) to head assembly (7).

Install head assembly (7) and bolts (18). Tighten bolts (18) to a torque of 310 N m (230 lb ft).

Install retaining ring (16) and key (17) onto coupling (14).
