Start By:
Remove the equalizer bar pads. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Equalizer Bar Pads - Remove".
Remove the track roller frame (left or right). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track Roller Frame - Remove".

Attach a suitable lifting device to equalizer bar (1) in order to support equalizer bar (1) during the removal procedure.

Disconnect hoses (2) and (4) . Remove bolts (3) and (6) . Remove plate (5) from the equalizer bar center pin.

Install Tooling (A) between the front of equalizer bar (1) and the saddle. Tooling (A) will prevent movement and binding of the saddle when the center pin is removed.

When you are using hydraulic cylinders and puller studs, always ensure that the rated capacity of the puller stud meets or exceeds the rated capacity of the hydraulic cylinder. If the puller stud does not meet or exceed the rated capacity of the hydraulic cylinder, a sudden failure of the puller stud could occur. The sudden failure of the puller stud could result in personal injury or death.
Note: Threaded Rods cannot be used with Hydraulic Cylinders as Tooling.
Install Tooling (B) to equalizer bar center pin (7) .
Use Tooling (B) in order to pull equalizer bar center pin (7) out of the saddle approximately 88.9 mm (3.50 inch).

Place Tooling (D) in position under equalizer bar center pin (7) .
Use Tooling (C) to pull equalizer bar center pin (7) out of the equalizer bar and onto Tooling (D) .
Lower the end of the equalizer bar to the ground and remove the nylon strap.
Remove the spacers between the equalizer bar and the saddle.

Attach a suitable lifting device to the end of equalizer bar (1) that is still attached to the track roller frame. The weight of equalizer bar (1) is approximately 771 kg (1700 lb).
Loosen bolts (8) . Remove the retaining ring and the spacer from equalizer bar end pin (9) .
When you are using hydraulic cylinders and puller studs, always ensure that the rated capacity of the puller stud meets or exceeds the rated capacity of the hydraulic cylinder. If the puller stud does not meet or exceed the rated capacity of the hydraulic cylinder, a sudden failure of the puller stud could occur. Install Tooling (E) to equalizer bar end pin (9) . Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (E) .
Remove equalizer bar end pin (9) .
Lower equalizer bar (1) to the ground. Pull equalizer bar (1) outward from the machine.
Remove the equalizer bar pads. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Equalizer Bar Pads - Remove".
Remove the track roller frame (left or right). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track Roller Frame - Remove".

Attach a suitable lifting device to equalizer bar (1) in order to support equalizer bar (1) during the removal procedure.

Place Tooling (D) in position under equalizer bar center pin (7) .
Use Tooling (C) to pull equalizer bar center pin (7) out of the equalizer bar and onto Tooling (D) .
Lower the end of the equalizer bar to the ground and remove the nylon strap.
