Fork Positions for Lifting FPU Cabinet Off Skid- Front View (1) Left Fork Position (2) Right Fork PositionNote: Always lift from the front. Never lift cabinet from sides.Note: Forklift prongs must be no wider than 533.4 mm (21 inch) to lift the FPU Cabinet.
Measure a 533.4 mm (21 inch) gap centered on the FPU cabinet skid to mark where the forks should be placed.

Draw lines directly on the skid for guidance.Removal of FPU Cabinet Shipping Skid
The cabinet is attached to two shipping skids. The skids provide protection from shock and vibration. The skids are constructed of foam that is sandwiched between two pieces of wood. The skids are attached to the cleats of the cabinets by four bolts.

Remove the four (4) skid bolts that secure the cleats of the cabinets to the shipping skids.
Insert the forks from the forklift into the front of the cabinets. See Figure 8 and Figure 9 for forklift position.Note: Make sure that forks are centered up and line up with lines drawn on the shipping skid.
Tilt forks up slightly and lift the cabinet off the shipping skid.
Remove the shipping skid.Note: Set FPU Cabinet in place and remove the Front Flywheel Module Bracket to install on to the Flywheel Module.Flywheel Module Handling and Unpacking

Unhook buckles on right and left side.

Remove front board (21) from skid.Note: Front Flywheel Module Bracket must be removed from the FPU Cabinet.

Bolt Locations - Attach Front Flywheel Module Bracket to the Flywheel Module
Attach Front Flywheel Module Bracket to the Flywheel Module using four bolts (23) located on the bracket.
Insert the forks from the forklift into the front of the cabinets. Refer to Illustration 13 for forklift position.Note: Forklift prongs must be no wider than 533.4 mm (21 inch) to lift the Flywheel Module.
Lift the Flywheel Module off the shipping skid.
Remove the shipping skid.Product Serial Number Locations
