1     1     8B-7614 Bearing Nut     Use the following procedure to tighten the bearing nut:
1. Tighten the locknut to 34 7 N m (25 5 lb ft).
2. Rotate or oscillate hub an equivalent of three revolutions.
3. Again, tighten the locknut to
34 7 N m (25 5 lb ft).
4. Repeat Step 2 and Step 3.    
2     -     -     Apply 6V-5765 Sealant to end of hub assembly and between the cover and hub assembly.    
3     1     1M-8747 Duo-Cone Seal Gp     Rubber toric seals and all surfaces in contact with the seals must be clean and dry at assembly. Apply a thin layer of oil to the contacting surfaces of the metal seals that are in contact just before installation. The metal seal must be assembled square with the bore. The rubber toric seals must not bulge. The rubber toric seals must not be twisted.
