To access the "Setup Menu" dialog, complete the following steps:

Press the "Menu" key.A screen that is similar to Illustration 1 will appear.Note: Changes that are made to the "Setup Menu" will take effect when exiting the "Setup Menu" dialog.Working with the Setup Menu
Press the arrow keys to scroll through the available options. Press the OK key to select the appropriate item.Within any of the "Setup Menu – Configuration" options, the following steps apply:
Press the OK key to save any changes to the setup.
Press the escape key to close the dialog without changing any setup options. A warning appears.
Press the OK key to confirm that you want to cancel your changes.
Press the escape key to return to the dialog.When all of the changes are made to the items in the "Setup Menu – Configuration" dialog, press the escape key to exit. The changes take effect immediately.The remaining sections of this manual discuss the options that may be available in the "Setup Menu – Configuration" dialogs.Receiver
The receiver is configured with the coordinates of the site when a design is loaded onto the display. If the design does not contain a configuration file, consult your supervisor.The configuration file can be separate from the design file. Use the "GNSS Receiver Configuration" dialog in the "Setup Menu - Configuration" menu to send the configuration file to the receivers.Machine Radio
The "Select Radio Band" dialog allows the operator to change the frequency band for the data radio.To open the "Select Radio Band" dialog, complete the following steps:
Enter the "Configuration" menu from the "Setup" menu.

Press the arrow keys until "Connectivity Settings" is highlighted and press the OK Key

Press the arrow keys until "Select Radio Band" is highlighted. Press the OK key.The utility automatically attempts to connect to the radio.

Use the softkeys to select the desired band.A screen that is similar to Illustration 4 appears.Beeper Configuration
Note: The contents of the "Setup Menu" are configurable at the job site. The number of items that are in the "Setup Menu" may vary depending on the "Operator Configuration" settings of your system and the machine settings. Refer to your supervisor if a specific option is not available.The Grade Control System includes a beeper.The beeper can be configured to provide an audible signal when any of the events that are listed in Table 2 occur.

Event Description
Above Grade Audible signal when the blade is more than one times the vertical tolerance and less than four times the vertical tolerance above grade.
Avoidance Zone (the machine is within the alert) Audible signal when the machine is within the alert distance of an avoidance zone or if the "No Avoid" message is displayed. The beeper also sounds in a continuous pattern when the machine is within the avoidance zone.
The beeper tones for the Avoidance zone cannot be disabled.
Below Grade Audible signal when the blade is more than one times the vertical tolerance and less than four times the vertical tolerance below grade.
