CONDITIONER 4741241 - Caterpillar

1. Remove seals (1) from spacer plate (3).
Do not cause damage to dowels (2) when the spacer plate is removed.
2. Remove spacer plate (3) from the cylinder block. 3. Remove O-ring seal (4) and spacer plate gasket (5) from the cylinder block.Install Spacer Plates
1. Make sure the spacer plate and the machined surface on the cylinder block are clean and free of dirt and foreign material.
Both surfaces of the spacer plate, gasket and the top of the cylinder block must be clean. Do not use a gasket adhesive or other substances on these surfaces.
2. Put a new gasket (1) in position over the dowels on the cylinder block as shown. 3. Install O-ring seal (2) on the cylinder block. 4. Install spacer plate (4) on the cylinder block.5.
