Disconnect hose assemblies (7). Remove hose assembly (8). Remove hose assembly (9) and tube assembly (10).

Remove bolts (13) and reposition harness assembly (12). Use two people to remove beam assembly (11). The weight of beam assembly (11) is approximately 27 kg (60 lb). Remove beam assembly (11).

Remove bolt (14). Reposition hose assembly (16) and harness assembly (15).

Disconnect hose assemblies (17), (19), and (20). Disconnect harness assemblies (18) and (21).

Disconnect harness assemblies (23) and (25). Disconnect hose assemblies (24) and (26).

Remove clamp (30). Remove tube assemblies (29). Remove elbow (31).

Attach suitable lifting device to pump assembly (32). The weight of pump assembly (32) is approximately 91 kg (200 lb). Remove bolts (33) and pump assembly (32).

Remove tube assembly (34) from steering pump (35).

Attach a suitable lifting device to steering pump (35). The weight of steering pump (35) is approximately 64 kg (140 lb).
Remove bolts (36) and steering pump (35).

Attach Tooling (A) to torque converter (36). The weight of torque converter (36) is approximately 193 kg (425 lb).

Remove bolts (37). Use two of bolts (37) as forcing bolts. Remove torque converter (36).

Remove retaining ring (38) and sun gear (39). Installation Procedure
Install torque converter (36) in the reverse order of removal.
