This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs.The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS51222" as the Part Numberand "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

PROBLEM
The alternator mounting allows the alternator to move front to rear which causes the 4N-4942 adjusting eyebolt to fracture.

ACTION REQUIRED
A new mounting bracket has been designed to stiffen the alternator mount. The part number is 282-6844. The adjusting rod(eyebolt) 4N-4942 will need relocated to the back side of the lower alternator flange and mounting block. Please see installation illustrations.
