travel alarm will begin sounding as a result of the following:
The machine is traveling.
The hydraulic cab riser (HCR) is activated and lowering.The travel alarm cancel function is controlled by the Soft Switch Panel (SSP). The powertrain ECM will illuminate the LED above the travel alarm cancel switch on the SSP in order to indicate that the travel alarm cancel function has been requested. Power and Ground is supplied to the travel alarm through contacts J2-2 and J2-4.If the alarm has sounded for more than ten seconds, one of the following will be true:
The travel alarm cancel switch was pressed during the ten second period.
The travel alarm cancel switch was not pressed during the ten second period.If the switch was pressed during the ten second period, the alarm will stop sounding immediately after the ten second period. If the switch was not pressed during the ten second period the alarm will continue to sound. The alarm will sound until the switch is pressed, or travel is no longer detected.Note: The travel alarm cancel switch and LED have no effect when the HCR is activated. The travel alarm will always sound when the HCR is activated regardless of the state of the travel alarm cancel switch.
