1 1 096-4755 Pin Before assembly, apply Loctite C5A Copper anti-seize to the pin.
2 1 227-6221 Breather As Before assembly, apply and spread white Loctite 536 or Threebond TB1110F continuously on all around three threads width.
3 1 114-1399 Gauge Pipe Before assembly, apply and spread white Loctite 536 or Threebond TB1110F continuously on all around three threads width.
4 2 096-4883 Locknut Torque to 17 3 N m (150 27 lb in).
5 1 8T-6868 Bolt Before assembly, apply Loctite 243 to threads.
6 16 461-3882 Bolt Before assembly, remove compound, oil, and dust from female threads, then apply Loctite C5A Copper anti-seize Compound to the threads.
Use the following tightening procedure:
1. Tighten bolts to 250 25 N m (184 18 lb ft).
2. Turn to an extra angle of 45 5 degrees.
7 - - Before assembly, the surfaces must be clean and free of protective coating.
8 1 6V-7238 Shutoff Valve Torque to 28 3 N m (248 27 lb in).
Close valve shutoff by 2.9 0.5 N m (25.6 4.4 lb in).
9 1 8C-8422 Sealant Before assembly into the upper frame group, coat the mating surfaces with 8C-8422 Sealant.
10 1 5D-1026 Band Clamp The band clamp head bolt should be assembled upper side to avoid the potential interference between the band clamp head and the valve.
Torque to 4.5 0.5 N m (39.8 4.4 lb in).
