Removal Procedure

Loosen hose clamp (2) and hose clamp (4).
Remove hose assembly (3) from air cleaner assembly (1) and inlet elbow (6).
Remove bolts (5) from air cleaner assembly (1).
Remove air cleaner assembly (1) from the mounting bracket.

If necessary, follow Step 5.a through Step 5.c in order to remove mounting bracket (7).
Remove bolts (11) bolts (10) (not shown).
Remove bolt (8) and spacer (9).
Remove mounting bracket (7) from the cylinder head. Installation Procedure
Ensure that all components are free from wear or damage. If necessary, replace any components that are worn or damaged.

If necessary, follow Step 2.a through Step 2.e in order to install mounting bracket (7).
Position mounting bracket (7) onto the cylinder head.
Install bolt (8) and spacer (9) to the mounting bracket.
Install bolts (11) bolts (10) (not shown) to the mounting bracket.
Tighten bolts (11) bolts (10) to a torque of 25 N m (221 lb in).
Tighten bolts (8) to a torque of 60 N m (44 lb ft).

Position air cleaner assembly (1) onto the mounting bracket.
Install bolts (5) to air cleaner assembly (1).
Install hose assembly (3) to air cleaner assembly (1) and inlet elbow (6).
Securely tighten hose clamp (2) and hose clamp (4).
Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 25 N m (221 lb in).
If necessary, replace air cleaner element for air cleaner assembly (1). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Air Cleaner Element - Replace" for the correct procedure.
