System Operation Description:The event code, 3546-2 for utility circuit breaker or contactor status that is erratic, intermittent, or incorrect, will become active when both of the following occur:
The transfer switch feature is enabled.
There is no digital input configured for utility breaker AUX A or AUXB.The event can also be activated when there are inputs configured for AUX A or AUXB and the signals are conflicting.Note: There is a conflict with the signals are the same logic level.Test Step 1. Verify EMCP Set Points
The generator/utility automatic transfer enable status parameter is used to turn ON or turn OFF the utility circuit breaker status warning. The parameter default is set to DISABLED. Use the arrow buttons on the EMCP and the "OK" button to navigate to "Transfer Switch". From the screen showing "Configure", press the arrow keys to select "All Setpoints". Next, select "Control", then select "Transfer Switch". Press the "OK"button. Change the status to either enable or disable.
Verify EMCP digital inputs programming. Ensure that a digital input is configured to "Utility Breaker AUX A or AUX B". To navigate to the parameter, from the "Configure" screen, use the arrow keys, and OK button to select "Inputs and Outputs". Next, select "Digital Inputs".Results:
