Personal injury can result from air pressure.Personal injury can result without following proper procedure. When using pressurized air, wear a protective face shield and protective clothing.Maximum air pressure at the nozzle must be less than 205 kPa (30 psi) for cleaning purposes.
The cab recirculation air filter is located in a compartment outside of the right-hand cab window.

Release access door (1) by turning the fasteners which are located at both ends of the access door. Then, swing the access door up and out to service the cab fresh air filter.
Unscrew wing bolts (4) that secure filter cover plate (3) and remove the filter cover plate. Remove recirculation air filter element (2).
The recirculation air filter element can be cleaned by using pressurized air. Use a maximum air pressure of 205 kPa (30 psi). Direct the air from the clean side to the dirty side.
Look through the recirculation air filter element toward a bright light. Inspect the element for damage. Inspect the gaskets for damage. Replace damaged air filter elements.
Install the recirculation air filter element.
Install the filter cover plate and secure with the wing bolts.
Swing access door (1) back into position and secure the two fasteners that hold the access door in place. Note: Clean the filter more often in dusty conditions.
