Some 7X1400 and 8C9904 Digital Diagnostic Tools may cause engine shutdown when inserted into the data link of the 3600 family of Spark Ignited Engines.
Action Required
Return 7X1400 or 8C9904 Digital Diagnostic Tools purchased prior to June 1, 1992 to have them reworked to prevent this problem.
Service Claim Allowances
Not applicable. These digital diagnostic tools will be reworked at no charge.
