3. Disconnect wires (3) and hoses (1) & (2). 4. Fasten a hoist to oil filter (4). Remove bolts (5) and remove the oil filter and housing. The weight of the oil filter and housing is 23 kg (50 lb). Start By:a. remove transmission oil filter and housing 1. Remove bolts (1) and cover (2). 2. Remove nut (3). 3. Remove retainer (4) and element (6). Remove O-ring (5).4. Remove O-rings (7) & (8) from cover (2). Earlier machines have a bypass switch in place of plug (13).5. Disassemble bypass valve as follows:a. Remove plug (13), spool (11) and spring (10). Remove the O-ring from plug (13).b. Remove plug (12) and the O-ring seal from the plug. To assemble the transmission oil filter and housing, reverse the disassembly steps.
